I am a mom, wife, and designer and artist from Southwest Louisiana. I have worked in a variety of fields as a designer. I started my journey with art and design at age 15 as an apprentice to a T-shirt designer. I continued my journey with freelance clients and soon began to pursue my BA degree in art. While pursuing my degree I participated in several paid internships including: Advertising agency work, Website design development , McNeese State University Art website re-design, and an internship through the University for a campaign against underaged drinking. These allowed me to gain a varied experience in a multitude of design formats before graduating with a degree. After receiving my degree my journey continued with several professional positions that allowed me to gain incite into design for the manufacturing and service industries. I am currently a Senior level Designer focusing on workforce development designing adult education training materials. I continue to do my own personal designs for apparel through my print on demand shops, and I have most recently published my a series of coloring books, featuring sketches of Louisiana culture and brief cultural information. You may check out more of my personal projects linked here.
